About 50 participants from Russia and China gathered at the House of Scientists of the Far Eastern Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences to discuss joint research projects, challenges of the digital age and current issues of international security. The focus is on the development of artificial intelligence, the digital economy, and sustainable food supply in the face of climate change.
According to Dmitry Aminin, Chief Scientific Secretary of the Far Eastern Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences, the conference has become an important platform for discussing the historical path and prospects of Russian-Chinese cooperation. He stressed the importance of strengthening scientific and cultural ties in the interests of both countries.
Academician Nikolai Kradin, Director of the Institute of History, Archeology and Ethnography of the Peoples of the Far East, expressed hope that the meeting would mark the beginning of a regular dialogue between scientists from China and Russia. He noted the importance of international scientific exchange in the context of global challenges.
