Speaking at the plenary session of the Eastern Economic Forum in Vladivostok, Li Hongzhong, a member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and Deputy Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress, noted that an agreement on this issue had been reached at the level of the leaders of the two countries. According to him, it is the Far East that can become a key platform for the practical implementation of high-tech projects.
Cooperation in the field of artificial intelligence is considered as an important element of the strategic partnership between Russia and China. Moscow and Beijing are striving to use new digital solutions not only in industry, but also in the social sphere, which will strengthen technological independence and create conditions for long-term economic growth.
The 10th Eastern Economic Forum, where this statement was made, is taking place in Vladivostok from September 3-6. Its main theme this year is "The Far East: Cooperation for Peace and Prosperity," organized by the Roscongress Foundation.
