According to the press service of Plenipotentiary Yuri Trutnev, the Russian-Chinese economic forum "Amurexpo" will once again become a visiting venue for the Eastern Economic Forum and will be aimed at developing cooperation with friendly countries. The discussions will focus on scientific and technological projects and strengthening humanitarian ties between Russia and China.
The regional authorities note that the key focuses of the forum in 2026 are related to the new opportunities of the Amur Region. Participants will be presented with cross—border infrastructure projects, including a cable car, the Kani-Kurgan checkpoint and an updated airport, as well as discuss the work of international trade routes and the prospects for visa-free travel between the two countries.
The business program will be developed jointly with Roscongress and will include more than ten thematic blocks, a plenary session, meetings with foreign delegations and business. In addition, roadshows on new logistics facilities are planned, as well as cultural and sports events that will be held in parallel with the program of the Harbin International Trade and Economic Fair in Heihe.
