Kaliningrad automobile plant Avtotor will start producing SUVs of the Chinese brand Rox Motor in the spring of 2026. According to the company, at the first stage, production will be organized using assembly technology based on a welded and painted body, which will allow the models to be quickly introduced to the Russian market.
As part of the initial stage, it is planned to launch the production of Rox 01 and Rox Adamas models. In the future, the partners intend to assess the market situation and consider the possibility of moving to deeper localization of production in Russia.
Evgeny Petukhov, President and CEO of Avtotor Auto Holding, noted that Rox Motor is considered a promising partner, including taking into account the development of sequential hybrid technologies and the company's accumulated experience in the production of premium segment vehicles.
