In the Chinese city of Harbin, a "delta"strain of coronavirus was detected, an outbreak of infection was recorded there, RIA Novosti reports, citing a message from the local government.Earlier, the city introduced a set of anti-epidemic restrictions after the identification of a person infected with coronavirus. Over the past day, 15 cases of coronavirus infection have been detected in Harbin, Sputnik radio writes.
"According to the results of genome sequencing, a "delta"strain was found among the detected cases," the report says.
In early September, restrictions were imposed in the Chinese city of Putian due to an outbreak of coronavirus infection.
